We’d love to have you join us to celebrate our marriage. We will be in Lisbon between 2 April to 14 April 2026. 

Travelling and staying in Lisbon, Portugal

There are a number of options to travel to Lisbon from Sydney. We recommend flying Emirates, as they fly daily to Lisbon via Dubai with a short layover (<4 hours). Other options include flying Etihad via Abu Dhabi or Qatar via Doha.

As an alternative, Qantas and British Airways fly daily to London, where there are a number of daily flights to Lisbon.

Lisbon's airport, Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS), is located just 7km northeast of the city center, and 1km from Daniel’s neighbourhood, Lumiar - where our wedding ceremony will be held in the local Catholic church down the road.

Wedding day logistics

Transport will be provided between the church and reception venue. We will share more details as soon as they become available.

Accomodation options

We are currently organising discounted rates at nearby hotels surrounding the reception venue. When we have more information, we will reach out to you to provide an update including any rates or special codes. If you would like to book your accomodation in the interim, we recommend you stay either in the city center or closer to Lumiar if you are planning on joining us for our welcome dinner.

Additional events

In addition to the wedding ceremony and reception, we will be hosting a casual welcome dinner  held on Wednesday 8 April, in Daniel’s neighbourhood as well as a post wedding event on Sunday 12 April near the reception venue. Both events are optional and a chance for us to catch up informally and explore Lisbon while we're all in town.
